PROJECT MANAGER
HAMMERS CONSTRUCTION - PERHAM, MN
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Project Manager with Hammers Construction you will manage and coordinate large, complex commercial and industrial construction projects. You will work closely with our clients, field staff, subcontractors, architects, and other stakeholders to successfully complete projects under your supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop specific project bid criteria.

Negotiate and analyze subcontracts and purchase order agreements with subcontractors and vendors.

Review subcontractor scope of work and subcontractor agreements.

Create project schedules & keep insurance certificates current.

Review and approve all subcontractor change orders and cost control budget adjustments.

Prepare monthly progress billings.
-
Coordinate and supervise project work teams.
-
Close-out requirements and/or punch list.

Review and update project schedule on a weekly basis.

Represent our company in all matters relating to his/her specific project.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of construction principles, techniques and procedures including estimating and scheduling.

Ability to communicate and present information to clients in meetings and formal interviews.

Strong problem solving, organizational skills and detailed oriented.

Ability to read architectural / engineering plans and specifications.
-
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with effective time management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
